Attribution: tanks_of_freedom
SimVX port of Tanks of Freedom by P1X (Krzysztof Krystian Jankowski / w84death), with audio by QmYaan (Grand Beats) (https://github.com/w84death/Tanks-of-Freedom).
- Original code + graphics license: MIT (© 2015 P1X). See the sibling
UPSTREAM_LICENSE.md. - Original audio license: CC-BY-SA 4.0 (QmYaan / Grand Beats). The bundled SFX/music are redistributed under CC-BY-SA 4.0 with attribution to QmYaan / Grand Beats; any modifications to them must also be shared under CC-BY-SA 4.0.
- Original font license: the upstream bundles Courier Prime (OFL) and NotoSans (Apache-2.0); no fonts are bundled in this port.
- This port: original SimVX-contributor Python code, licensed MIT. Every sprite on screen is generated procedurally in
nodes/textures.py(text is drawn with the engine's own UI font), so no upstream graphics are bundled. The sound effects underassets/sfx/are the only upstream assets redistributed here, under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 terms above. - Relationship to SimVX: this folder is licensed per the terms above (port code MIT; bundled audio CC-BY-SA 4.0), NOT under the SimVX engine (AGPL-3.0) or the permissive examples licence.
- Trademark: "Tanks of Freedom" is the name of P1X's project; this is an unaffiliated homage, not endorsed.
